Unending Stream

You opened my eyes to a miracle,
That was beyond language, hope and thought.
Healed the scars of a life crime,
When I accepted that your love,
Breaks through fences, prisons, minds.

An unending stream,
A spring bubbling in our hearts,
Banishing all our doubts and brokenness.

You touched my lips with coals of fire,
Restored me when I had drowned,
In a sea of shabby falsehood.

You came to me and made me see,
That smile of love that fashions men anew,
Destroys all that is counterfeit
With words so strong and true.
