God’s Simple Gift
God give this simple gift to man
As part of His almighty plan.
An obscure birth in a hidden place,
He could have been lost without a trace.
Yet this small child is His own Son,
A priceless gift for everyone.
A miraculous sign of God’s great love,
Coming to Earth from heaven above.
Jesus is born in that rough stable,
The only one who will be able
To heal the broken heart of man,
What we cannot do, He surely can.
A tiny child fills us with awe,
Everything we have been praying for.
His life does what we never can,
Bridge the gap between God and man.
